This page explains what data telegram2text collects, what we don't collect, and how long we keep anything we see.
What we DON'T collect
- No accounts. We don't ask for your name, email, phone number, or any personal information.
- No cookies. We don't set tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or any other persistent storage.
- No tracking. No pixels, no beacons, no fingerprinting, no third-party analytics scripts.
- No payment data. The service is free — there's nothing to charge.
What we do see
When you export a Telegram channel, our server processes the request and logs a minimal record:

Channel content (the actual posts) is processed in memory during the export and is not stored on our servers afterward. Once you download the file, it's gone from our side.
Logs
Export logs are kept for up to 30 days, then automatically deleted. Logs contain only the metadata listed above — no user identities, no channel content, no IP addresses linked to personal identities.
We use these logs only for: - Detecting and fixing errors - Understanding aggregate usage patterns (how many exports, top requested channels, success rate) - Performance monitoring
We do not sell, share, or publish these logs. We do not analyze them with third-party services.
Third parties
telegram2text does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We don't share data with anyone — there's no data to share.
The only external service involved is the Telegram Client API, which we use to read public channel content — the same way Telegram Web works when you open a public channel link.
Data retention
